Q: Do I need a Paypal account in order to pay?
Nope - the payment portal has both Paypal login AND credit/debit card options - no account or signing-up required :)
Q: How long does delivery take?
We use Courierpost, who pick up packages daily Monday-Friday. We will email you a tracking number for your order as soon as we’ve processed it. We’ve found it usually takes 1-3 days for parcels to arrive, though delays are possible and rural deliveries may take longer.
Q: Do you post internationally?
While we would love to be able to get books out to all you readers across the globe, unfortunately we do not ship outside of Aotearoa. We are only a small team and international postage is pretty unpredictable, time-consuming, and expensive. If you’re not in NZ and can’t order from us, please consider supporting your local independent bookshop instead!
Q: Do you have vouchers/can I order a book as a gift?
You can purchase vouchers on our online shop here. If you would like a voucher for a specific amount that is not listed on our website give us a call or email and we’re more than happy to do that.
We send books as gifts all the time - just enter in the recipient’s address for delivery and if you’d like gift-wrapping and/or a note included just let us know in the ‘Order Notes’ at checkout. We don’t charge for gift-wrapping but we encourage donations to the Help Foundation.
Q: How do I become a loyalty member?
You can sign up here or talk to one of us at the shop and we can get you set up. You’ll receive our (very sporadic!) e-newsletter and then when shopping online you can log in to collect or use your loyalty. If you’re in store just give us your name at the counter so we know to add your points on!
